Bieber: Cheryl Cole is hot

Justin Bieber likes older women? Yes, if you look like Cheryl Cole, that is.

The teen pop superstar says Cheryl is about as hot as girls get, and is wife material

"She is really hot but, most importantly, she is a really nice person and is kind to people so, yes, I think so."

But he later admits she's a tad too old for him.

The two pop stars are reportedly working on her upcoming solo album.

He's also holding out on a guest role in Glee until she also appears in the episode, preferably as a schoolteacher.

Cheryl Cole ends friendship with Cowell

Simon Cowell's week got worse last night as Cheryl Cole finally admitted: "Our relationship is over. I'm through with him."
She is furious that he humiliated her further by telling The Sun she was "nervous" and "uncomfortable" on The X Factor in America.
Music mogul Cowell had promised to keep silent on the fiasco in which she was dumped from the US show last month.
The Geordie beauty told a pal: "If he thinks we are going to be friends he can forget it."
Cheryl, 27, is particularly annoyed that Cowell claimed he was "protecting her" by trying to force her to leave the US show and return to the UK version.
The pal said: "If Simon thinks he can claim it was a business arrangement that went wrong, he is insane.
"She wasn't uncomfortable on the show. She was enjoying herself. No one complained at the time.
"Simon admits he got his top producer Richard Holloway to tell her she was off the US show - that's because he was afraid to do it himself.
"Cheryl trusted him implicitly and she doesn't do that with many people.
"He made a mockery of their friendship so now it's dead in the water."
Cowell, 51, told The Sun that Girls Aloud singer Cheryl was "out of her comfort zone in America".
But he has thrown his weight behind her signing for new US singing show The Voice. He said: "I would encourage her to do that. I don't wish her bad."

Cheryl Cole offered 'X Factor' job back

The biggest X Factor in Fox’s version of the UK hit has been Brit singer Cheryl Cole, who was originally announced as part of the show’s judging panel last month, then was seemingly booted off, and is now being offered a role on the show again.

Here’s what we’re being told happened: Cole signed up with U.S. version of X Factor and participated in the early judging rounds. What went down next is the subject of some dispute, but one U.S.-based executive involved in the matter tells EW that Cole “wasn’t quite herself” during her four days of filming, potentially due to nerves or just feeling out of her environment with the new show.

Some reports have made it sound like U.S. producers basically booted Cole from the show because they were unhappy with her performance. Our source says was more consensual.

“After the Chicago auditions, producers suggested she might be happier returning to the UK panel and her management clearly indicated she’d be happy to consider that,” a source says. “It wasn’t meant to be the case she was ‘being fired.’ She was offered an alternative [to work on the UK version] for more money where they thought she might be happier.”

Producers of the Fox show promoted previously announced co-host Nicole Scherzinger to Cole’s judges spot, while Cole started re-negotiating to return home to the UK version of X Factor. She asked for a reported 2.5 million pounds, then after two days of negotiations went silent “for like three or four days.” Producers were unwilling to meet the price, suspected she might have been courting other offers and were under deadline to start production in the UK. They withdrew their offer.

The press exploded with the story that Cole was now adrift from both versions of X Factor.

But hello: Yesterday Fox and producer Freemantle called her management and said they “want to ensure she still has a role on the show” and told her the role could be adapted to suit her. One serious factor is that Cole’s deal states she gets paid whether she participates or not, so, hey, why not have her involved. But producers still want a commitment that she “really really wants to be a part of the U.S. show” — even though they’re reportedly offering her about $1.5 million, much less than she demanded from the UK version.

“This is not about playing games,” a source says.

We’re told one option being discussed right now is having a panel of five judges (Cole and Scherzinger, plus L.A. Reid, Paula Abdul and, of course, Simon Cowell), though that strikes us as one too many. Especially since, with X Factor, each judge coaches their own performance category, so a new category would presumably have to be created to pull off a panel of five.

“Simon Cowell’s only concern is he wants to make sure everything is done right by Cheryl,” adds a source close to the judge-producer.

One thing is for sure: This is not the end of this story — or the last version of these events you are likely to hear.

Cheryl Cole was 'hours from death'

Cheryl Cole was reportedly close to death when she was diagnosed with malaria earlier this week.

The singer, who is currently recovering in a private clinic, is said to be unable to talk and still on a drip and using an oxygen mask.

A friend told the News of the World: "We nearly lost her and the battle is far from over. She is so weak and this horrible illness has taken complete hold of her.

"It got so bad she was literally only hours from death's door. Thank goodness she was diagnosed in time. Even now she can't talk. She drifts in and out of consciousness and when she comes round all she can do is sob.

"There was no news coming out of the hospital because it was all so touch and go. We couldn't give any assurances to fans because there weren't any to give.

The friend added: "The fact is, we came close to losing someone very special. She can't even speak at the moment and doesn't know what's happening to her. All she can do is sob. It's terrifying. And there's no end in sight.

"Seeing Cheryl like this is so painful. She could easily have died. And she's not better, she's not even close. It's still a very serious situation and she's really going to have to battle."

The report claims that Cole's work schedule for the next few months has been cleared, meaning that she is unlikely to appear at the X Factor Boot Camp.

Cheryl Cole Hospitalized for Malaria

A representative for Cheryl Cole has confirmed the British singer has been admitted to hospital and is currently undergoing treatment for malaria. The Girls Aloud star sparked fears for her health on Saturday, July 3 after she collapsed during a photoshoot in London and canceled all her work commitments for the next week.

Initial reports pointed towards exhaustion or a stomach virus, but a spokesman for the star has now revealed her condition is much more serious. Cole was taken to a London hospital on Sunday, July 4 and is being treated for malaria, a mosquito-borne disease which she is believed to have picked up during a recent trip to Africa.

Update: Cheryl Cole's condition in hospital is worse than first thought, according to sources. The 27-year-old, who is being treated for malaria in intensive care, is believed to be suffering headaches and fever as her condition shows "no signs of improvement". She may now be forced to pull out of this year's X Factor and delay the release of her second album, which was due out in October. A spokesman told The Sun: "It is a lot more serious than first thought. Everyone thought she would pull through after 24 hours but there have been no signs of improvement. "She is very ill and will not be out of hospital for a while. Everyone is holding their breath.
