Paris Hilton was apparently kicked off the stage at DJ Afrojack's New Year's Eve gig.
The socialite, who is reportedly dating the musician, was asked to leave the stage because the DJ found her presence "too distracting", reports Page Six.
An eyewitness reportedly saw Hilton escorted off-stage just after DJ Afrojack led a countdown to the New Year.
Hilton's representative has denied this version of events and insisted that the reality star made the decision herself to exit.
"It was hot, so she went to change her dress. The manager helped her down off the stage," Hilton's spokesperson insisted.
Hilton and DJ Afrojack were spotted dining together as the musician prepared for the holiday event.
Last week, Hilton's ban from visiting magnate Steve Wynn's Las Vegas hotels was lifted.

Paris Hilton who? Top Bollywood host and filmmaker Karan Johar has reportedly cancelled his planned interview with the American socialite.
Word has it that diva Paris has imposed a series of restrictions on the Koffee with Karan host.
"The stage was set for the famous Karan-Paris television face-off. However, Paris's media team reportedly laid down too many conditions," an insider told The Times of India.
Karan is said to have pulled out from the chat, due to the limitations placed upon him as host.
"Karan was allegedly told that he could not ask Paris any personal questions - especially those pertaining to drug use, her jail term or sex tapes," added the source.
The My Name Is Khan director is loved for his guts in probing his guests in the 'Rapid Fire Round' segment of his talkshow.

As Kim Kardashian skyrockets to the top of the reality show heap, her one-time Bff Paris Hilton continues her slide into yesterday's news.
The most recent example came Wednesday (Aug. 25) as reports surfaced that her Oxygen show "The World According to Paris" has been canceled after just one season.
Calls to Hilton's publicist for comment were not returned.
If this turns out to be the case, it's not unexpected. When the series debuted in June, the ratings were underwhelming at best. The first episode drew a paltry 400,000 viewers. By way of comparison, the Season 5 premiere of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" drew 4.7 million viewers.
After the disappointing opening to the series, things only got worse for Hilton as she continued show promotion.
During an appearance on "The View," Barbara Walters grilled the heiress about her life choices after her 2007 jail stint.

Paris Hilton appeared to briefly stop an interview with ABC after being asked whether she thought her moment in the spotlight has passed.
Footage shown on GMA this morning shows Dan Harris asking Hilton about competition from other socialites and the ratings for The World According To Paris.
Hilton tells Harris that she doesn't feel overshadowed by stars such as Kim Kardashian and insists that she is happy with the ratings for her reality show, before Harris then asks if she thinks her "moment has passed".
Hilton responds by looking off camera and staying silent, prompting Harris to ask: "Do you want to wrap up?"
Former Simple Life star Hilton then briefly walks off camera, although she does then return to allow Harris to continue with the interview, even giving him a hug at the end of their conversation.
"I've been in this business for 15 years now so it's been a very long time and like any other business person or someone in the industry it's important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects," she says.
Hilton has yet to comment on the interview, although she did encourage followers on her Twitter account to tune into GMA for the talk yesterday.

Heartbreaker Paris Hilton insists on staying single. For the time being.
The 30-year-old socialite says she is in no rush to find a new lover after ending her relationship with club owner Cy Waits this week.
"I'm not looking for anyone," she told E! Online. "I really want to focus on myself and get to know myself and be in Malibu with my girls and just enjoy the summer. So no, no-one. I'm not looking for anyone."
The reality star added: "I've never been single in my life. It's the first time, so I just really want to get to know myself."

The hotel heiress goes to court to testify against an alleged home intruder only to see herself and boyfriend Cy Waits attacked by someone else as they made their way into the building.
"Omg @KathyHilton! That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary!," she tweeted, sad emoticon and all.
E! News witnessed the man as he broke through a pack of press and paparazzi and threw water at Waits' face outside the Superior Court building in Van Nuys as the couple made their way toward the court Wednesday afternoon.
The man then grabbed Waits' neck before the attacker was dragged to the ground by Hilton's security team who subdued him in a headlock.
"After the attack, they realized he is the same intruder that showed up to her home on a bicycle a few months ago. He has now been taken into custody. They are both a bit shaken up but thankful security acted quickly," the socialite's rep tells E! News. "The attacker assaulted Cy from behind.
The man, who ID'd himself as James Rainford, later told E! News that all he wanted was an autograph from Hilton and to ask her father, Rick Hilton, for permission to propose to her.
After the hearing, Paris' private security guard, Mason Burroughs, said Paris is now doing "great" after he safely escorted her out of the building.

Scandal-plagued socialite Paris Hilton has been voted the worst celebrity role model in a new online poll.
Three summer drug arrests, in South Africa, France and Las Vegas, have dented the heiress' reputation - and prompted internet users to flock to WENN.com and vote in their droves in a new rubbish role models survey.
Hilton landed a comprehensive 43 per cent of all votes, destroying the competition - which includes Lindsay Lohan, who has spent time behind bars and in rehab this summer.
Lohan finished second with 23 per cent ahead of Jersey Shore reality TV star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi. Chris Brown came in fourth, followed by incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne.
Hilton was last week charged with suspicion of possession of cocaine in Las Vegas. She faces up to four years in prison and a $5,000 (GBP3,333) fine if convicted. The socialite is scheduled to appear in court on 27 October for arraignment.

In light of her arrest Friday for possession of cocaine, socialite Paris Hilton has been banned from the Las Vegas resorts Wynn and Encore, a spokesman for the properties confirmed to People. The ban comes after several Las Vegas insiders claimed that the heiress might be blackballed from nightclubs. After the car in which she was riding was stopped, Hilton, 29, was taken inside the Wynn, where it was allegedly discovered that she had cocaine in her purse.

Paris Hilton's purse contained .8 grams of cocaine, cigarette wrappers commonly used for marijuana and a broken tablet of Albuterol when she was searched after a traffic stop, according to the police report. The heiress, 29, was charged with felony cocaine possession following her weekend arrest in Las Vegas. The drug charge carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison if convicted. Police pulled over the car in which she was riding on Las Vegas's famed Strip when an officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

According to police, Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel. The driver was arrested for DUI (drug-related, not alcohol) and when cops searched Hilton, they found her in possession of a controlled substance.
Police say tests revealed the substance to be cocaine.
She was arrested and released on her own recognizance.

Paris Hilton was shocked on Tuesday morning when she woke up to find a man trying to break into her L.A. home. Paris tweeted about the incident informing her Twitter followers that a man with “Big Knifes” was attempting to get into her home.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Access Hollywood that they responded to a 911 call from Paris Hilton’s home at 6.30 Am in the morning. The Lapd also informed that they have arrested an unidentified man outside Hilton’s home. The suspect is in his 40s and the police department is investigating the break in.

Paris Hilton is being sued by a hair extension company which claims the heiress signed a multi-million dollar contract to use and promote their fake locks ... and then totally blew them off -- causing $35,000,000 in damages.
According to a lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Hilton got just over $3.5 million since agreeing to become the spokesperson for Hairtech International's Dream Catcher hair extension line back in 2007.
But according to the docs, Paris didn't satisfy her end of the bargain -- when Hairtech claims she was "seen in magazines and on television not wearing [their] hair extensions and was in fact wearing competitors' hair extension products."
Hairtech also claims she screwed them over when she went to jail in June 2007 -- because there was "an implied" term in her contract that she would "obey the law."
In fact, Hairtech claims Paris served her time when she was supposed to be at a very important "launch party" for the hair extensions.
In the suit, Hairtech claims that "more than 600 hair extension professionals" were scheduled to attend at the party -- but because Paris couldn't make it, they lost opportunities which should have resulted in $6.6 million in revenue.
Now, Hairtech is accusing Paris of fraud and deceit -- and claims they ultimately lost $35 million because of her actions.
So far, no comment from Hilton's camp.

Paris Hilton has refused to allow her drugs bust mix-up to ruin her trip to South Africa - telling fans the authorities were "super nice and friendly" throughout the incident.
The socialite and her pals were held at a police station in the St. Croix area of Port Elizabeth on Friday after cops accused the group of smoking pot.
But Hilton was later released without charge - and insists she was not a suspect in the inquiry.
Her rep issued a statement, branding the incident a "complete misunderstanding", adding that another person in the group was the culprit and that authorities have "apologised for wrongfully accusing her".
And the reality TV star seems to have taken the run-in lightly - thanking fans for their support and insisting she loves South Africa.
On her Twitter.com page, Hilton writes, "Hey guys, there's a lot of crazy rumors going around. Just want you all to know the truth.
"Everything is completely fine. I was not charged or arrested, cause (sic) I didn't do anything. I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions. Everyone was super nice and friendly to me.
"I love South Africa! Such an amazing place, especially during The World Cup! Hope that clears everything up. Love you guys, thanks for your concern."

Paris Hilton is in trouble with the law - this time in South Africa. The reality star, 29, was questioned by police Friday in Port Elizabeth for allegedly smoking marijuana at the World Cup. Hilton was briefly detained outside the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium, where she had been watching the World Cup quarterfinal match between Brazil and the Netherlands. But a rep for Hilton says she's been cleared of any wrongdoing. "The incident was a complete misunderstanding and it was actually another person in the group who did it," the rep says. "The case has been dropped against Paris and no charges will be made.
