A woman who claims she was struck by Lindsay Lohan's Maserati has sued the Hollywood actress over her injuries.
Nubia Del Carmen Preza claims she was struck while walking through a West Hollywood intersection in September 2010.
Preza's lawsuit states she has suffered 'disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish' and that she is seeking damages for all her medical expenses and lost time at work.
A call to her attorney, Gregory Picco, seeking additional details was not immediately returned.
The lawsuit states LiLo was behind the wheel of the Maserati on the afternoon of the accident.
Her spokesman Steve Honig says the Mean Girl star or her attorneys hadn't been served with the case and could not comment on it.

It finally happened: Lindsay Lohan's luck ran out, and she's heading back to jail. The actress just admitted in court that she violated her probation, and agreed to begin serving out a 30-day sentence at a Los Angeles jail. She's been ordered to turn herself in to begin the sentence within one week, by Nov. 9, and will not be eligible for house arrest, electronic monitoring or any early release other than that required by the law. But will she really be serving a full month behind bars? Probably not. Despite the judge's order, a sheriff's department spokesman tells E! News that Lindsay will likely serve just 20 percent of her jail time, or six days, in jail.

Team Lindsay Lohan went into damage control mode on Friday after the actress emerged with stained and decaying teeth.
The actress, who is still just 25, shocked onlookers as she strutted on the red carpet at the premiere of THQ’s Saints Row: The Third in LA on Thursday night.
It seems that nicotine, coffee and perhaps red wine, have damaged the star's neglected Hollywood smile.
Her spokesperson refused to offer an explanation for her poor dental health, instead insisting she is still a 'beautiful' actress.
'Lindsay is widely acknowledged as one of the most stunning actresses of her day, and we get requests every week wanting to do photo shoots with her from top photographers,' her representative Steve Honig told America's People magazine.
'She's been on the cover of Vanity Fair and the top beauty and fashion magazines. She's a beautiful and glamorous actress.'
Seemingly irked by the negative attention his client has received, he added: 'With everything going on – from deteriorating public education to rampant homelessness to international unrest – there is no way I'm going to comment on Lindsay's teeth.'
Meanwhile, the Mean Girls star's troubles may soon extend well beyond dental hygiene.
She has allegedly been kicked off her community service programme for violating the rules on several occasions.
TMZ reports that Lohan failed to attend nine scheduled visits and that when she did attend, she would leave well before she had completed the minimum four hours required.
She was ordered her to serve 360 hours at the Downtown Women's Centre in L.A. earlier this year as part of her probation in the shoplifting case.
She is now said to have been reassigned to a programme with the Red Cross.
It is unlikely to impress Judge Stephanie Sautner, who warned that she would not get any more chances if she failed to comply by her orders.
Lohan is scheduled to attend court later this month for another progress report.

Lindsay Lohan is suing rapper Pitbull for dissing her in his song Give Me Everything.
In the song, Pitbull sings, "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."
Lohan asserts that "the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff."
Lohan also claims that as "a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild, [she] is suing under the New York civil rights laws, which protects people from having their name exploited for commercial purposes."
Lohan is seeking an injunction to stop all further broadcast of the song to go along with unspecified damages.

Lindsay Lohan was freed from house arrest Wednesday morning, ending a drama-filled 35 days and opening the next chapter in the troubled starlet's efforts to put her court troubles behind her.
Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Lohan's electronic monitoring equipment was removed shortly before 10 a.m. and she was removed from the jail system around 10:20 a.m.
Lohan is not entirely free. She still has to complete 480 hours of community service, complete an anti-shoplifting class and comply with other terms of her release.
Her spokesman, Steve Honig, said Lohan is "very focused" on resuming her community service, which is being performed at a downtown Los Angeles women's shelter and will also require her to work at the county's morgue.
Lohan, 24, was sentenced to four months in jail in May for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving case by taking a necklace from a jewelry store without permission earlier this year. She pleaded no contest to the theft and received no additional penalties, but will remain on probation for several more months.
Lohan's shorter confinement was the result of jail overcrowding in Los Angeles' only women's jail and mandatory credits, but it was not without drama.
Just days into her captivity, authorities were summoned to Lohan's home in the beachside community of Venice because her monitoring equipment reported her out of the area. The equipment had to be replaced because of a faulty battery in the actress' ankle monitor, and after officials learned that a houseguest had spilled a drink on another piece of monitoring equipment.
Lohan was summoned to court last week after probation officials told a judge the actress had tested positive for alcohol. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner determined after reviewing Lohan's case file that the actress was no longer required to undergo random drug tests and that she had not been ordered by a previous judge to abstain from alcohol.
Sautner did order the actress to stop hosting parties while serving house, telling her at one point, "Don't give people a reason to hate you."
Lohan has struggled to put a pair of 2007 drunken driving and drug arrests behind her. She was jailed twice and sent to rehab twice last year for failing to comply with the terms of her probation. She was accused of the necklace theft roughly three weeks after her release from rehab.
She has said she wants to resume acting and remains a cast member of a biopic of the infamous New York Gotti crime family titled, "Gotti: In The Shadow of My Father." Shooting on the film is expected to begin later this year.

Lindsay Lohan, 24, began serving house arrest Thursday morning at her Venice, Calif., townhouse after turning herself in to the Lynwood Jail hours earlier. "She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times," L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore tells People. Whitmore adds that Lohan surrendered to the facility at 5:02 a.m., where it was determined she was eligible for home confinement. The actress was fitted with an electronic ankle bracelet and released in less than an hour. No booking photo was taken.

Lindsay Lohan isn't having a particularly Good Friday anymore. The judge—who so helpfully knocked the actress' felony theft charge down to a misdemeanor a couple of hours ago— ruled this afternoon that Lohan was in violation of her probation and sentenced her to 120 days in county jail. Lohan was immediately taken into custody.

According to TMZ.com, the Los Angeles County District Attorney is expected to file the case against the actress on Monday following an investigation into the missing item, which was reportedly turned over to police by one of the star's associates last week (ends04Feb11).
Surveillance video from the store shows Lohan with the piece of jewellery in question on 22 January, and there are photos of her wearing what appears to be the same necklace a week later.
If convicted, the Mean Girls star faces a return to prison - for a maximum of three years.
The actress is planning to fight the charge and maintains she took the item on loan.
Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, says in a statement, "We vehemently deny these allegations and, if charges are filed, we will fight them in court, not in the press."

Various websites are reporting that the cast of Golden Globe winner Glee apparently apologized to a singer that the TV show gave mean jokes to.
Lindsay Lohan was out for dinner at the Chateau Marmot when she run to the cast of the show (with the exception of Lea Michele and Jane Lynch). The cast went there after the Screen Actors Guild Awards (where they lost to Modern Family).
The cast approached Lohan and apologized to her for making fun of her and her repeated trips to rehab.
Lohan has been previously reported to have been hurt and upset about the episode, which aired last November 16. In that episode, guest Gwyneth Paltrow, whose role is that of a substitute teacher in a Spanish class, asked the students to translate the sentences “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?” and “How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”

Just weeks away from completing her court-ordered stay at the Betty Ford Center, Lindsay Lohan is being investigated by police after allegedly assaulting a female employee at the clinic. Palm Desert police conducted a battery investigation at the scene at about 1 a.m. on Dec. 12. "The victim desired prosecution," says Sgt. Joe Borja of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. "The incident is being investigated as a misdemeanor." A source close to Lohan, 24, says the actress denies pushing the woman first. The staffer scolded Lohan for allegedly returning past curfew after spending the evening at a local bar, TMZ reports.

A rep for Matthew Wilder — the director of the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic, Inferno — confirmed with EW that the helmer will be recasting Lindsay Lohan’s role as the Deep Throat actress. Up until this point, Wilder had been supportive of Lohan throughout her legal troubles, insisting that he would wait until she fully completed rehab to start filming the feature. The director, however, has now decided to replace Lohan with another actress, whose identity will be announced on Monday. Said Wilder to E! Online: “We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support … Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her — and some other issues — have made it impossible for us to go forward.” Lohan is currently at a sober house affiliated with the Betty Ford Center, where she checked into rehab after violating her probation earlier this fall. Stay tuned Monday to hear who will now burn up the screen as the infamous porn star.

After years of downplaying Lindsay Lohan's struggles with substance abuse, Dina Lohan admitted Monday that her daughter is an addict.
In an interview with Today's Matt Lauer, Dina described her famous daughter, who is being treated at the Betty Ford Center in California, as "happy [and] relaxed."
"She's just a different person," Dina said. "She's been in a couple facilities, but this one to me has really changed her."
Dina had previously defended Lindsay on the Today show, instead placing blame on the judge in her case. When asked on Monday by Lauer why she was unwilling to admit Lindsay had a problem in the past, Dina said, "That was for Lindsay to admit. As a mother it wasn't for me to come to tell the world … about her problem."
"That was for her to do," she said. "I wasn't in denial."
Dina also somewhat revised her opinion about her daughter's tumultuous relationship with her father, Michael Lohan, saying she thinks it would be good for the two to reconnect.
When asked about online reports of an emotional reunion with Michael, Dina said she supported "whatever the facility wishes for her. It's all about Lindsay and her healing."
As to what will happen to her daughter, who has relapsed numerous times, once she is released from rehab on Jan. 3, Dina is cautiously optimistic.
"We take it one day at a time," she said. "Addiction is difficult. I don't know. I don't have a crystal ball. I pray hard ... We can only be positive and look to the future to help other families."

Lindsay Lohan is facing a 30-day jail sentence after failing her latest court-ordered drug test, according to U.S. reports. The "Mean Girls" star is trying to rebuild her reputation after serving time behind bars and in rehab following a probation violation issue earlier this year, stemming from her 2007 DUI arrest.
But the 24 year old, who was treated by addiction specialists for her prescription drug use, could find herself incarcerated once more after a drug test taken "in recent days" came back positive, Sources tell TMZ.com the drug in question was cocaine.
If the claims are true, she will face 30 days in jail. And a Lohan insider tells TMZ the news will hit the actress hard, "People with addiction problems don't get better magically, and she's really been making an effort to make herself better."

Lindsay Lohan was released from jail this morning, after serving just 13 days of her 90 day sentence. She was released at 1:35Am and was taken directly to a court approved rehab facility. She was originally to report to the Morningside Recovery rehab center in Newport Beach, California, but Judge Marsha Revel adjusted the order amid concerns that information about Lohan's whereabouts had been made public. She is now at UCLA Medical Center to begin a 90 day sentence.

Troubled Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan was taken in handcuffs from a Beverly Hills courtroom to start a 90-day jail term for violating parole after a drunk driving conviction. TV helicopters chased the police car taking the actress and model, who was dressed in jeans and black jacket, before she finally disappeared through the gates of the correctional facility at Lynwood, in the southern outskirts of Los Angeles. An "extremely cooperative" Lindsay Lohan was booked into Lynwood jail shortly after 10:00 am (1700 GMT) Tuesday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told reporters.
If Lindsay Lohan behaves herself in jail, she'll serve only about 14 days of her 90-day sentence."She is scheduled to be released on either Aug. 1 or 2 for overcrowding issues and good behavior," It's the long-standing policy of the L.A. County jail system to release nonviolent misdemeanor offenders early due to severe overcrowding. Lohan, 24, is serving her time alone in a 12-by-8 cell for violating probation in her DUI case.

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab, a week before she is due to start her jail term. Lohan was spotted Wednesday afternoon entering Pickford Lofts, an in-patient treatment facility founded by famed defence attorney Robert Shapiro, reports cbsnews.com. Lohan has hired Shapiro as her lawyer to avoid 90-day jail sentenced following violation of 2007 probation terms.
Lohan was sentenced for violating the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI (Driving Under Influence) arrest last week. She will also be spending another three months in rehab.
Although Shapiro has yet to officially confirm if he will be representing Lohan, her father, Michael Lohan, did so.
"Bob (Shapiro) is representing her. You tell me, why is (it) that I had to cry from the mountain for Lindsay to listen to me, and now finally she is doing what I said?" he said.

A friend of actress Lindsay Lohan has criticised her lifestyle and claimed that she is a bad person.
Jasmine Lennard, who met Lohan when she moved to LA, has suggested that drugs aren't the only source of her erratic behaviour.
Writing in the Sunday Mirror, she said: "I often wonder whether all her behaviour can be attributed to her addictions to drink and prescription drugs and her dabbling with cocaine.
"But I have concluded that - sober or not - Lindsay... is a real mean girl, a bad person and a bad friend. She is vacuous, self-consumed, spoiled and ugly inside."
She added: "She is entirely aware of the power she possesses over people. Her weapon is sex. I’m not saying she wants to have sex with everyone she meets - but I am saying that short, tall, black, white, man or woman... she will make you feel like she wants to. This is a game for her. It is also the behaviour of someone with chronically low self-esteem."
